RM48L950: Any multiple flash tool for Hercules?

Customer is going to mass production Hercules.

Since the unit is up to few thousands they’re seeking a solution to program multiple Hercules devices one time in their production line.

For example: to program 4 hercules flash one time

The Hercules side bootloader is already implemented.

Does Hercules have solution or 3rd party/partner to provide multiple flash tool?

    Hello James,

    We have worked with several manufacturing intended programming suppliers in the past. Some of these include DataIO and BPMicro among others. I don't know if these solutions support parallel programming or not. Uniflash is another possible solution, but, although it can handle multiple targets, it will only program one device at a time.

    I would suggest, if they have developed a boot loader, they could modify the boot loader to add an ID or address field to the communication scheme/protocol. If they add the address, they could theoretically use their boot loader but this would still require using a JTAG programmer to program the initial boot code.

    If neither of these suggestions is helpful, let me know and I can do a bit more research to see if I can come up with a few more names of companies that have submitted programming solutions for Hercules.
