CLI and UART are not particularly related to one another.

Please take at look at the Command Line Processing Module section in the TivaWare Utlities Library and see if this is what you are looking for.

And, though I am certainly no authority on this, we would plan to look at the Out-of-Box demo as a template for exactly this.

Roger that!     Might such, "Out-of-Box" be (equally) "Out-of-required detail, flexibility, and performance?"       (i.e. "whip-cracking" (marketing) may have rushed such "Out of Box" - mais non?)

Even "idiot boss" (to include you & me) must expect (somewhat) "Less than perfection" from (most all) "Out-of-Box."       (usually resulting from development, "Out-of-Time!")

Might such a "template" (even when available - especially when available) prove "less than optimal?"      How may such be, "overcome?"
