TMS570LC4357: Without CAN Transceiver, try to connect the CAN bus of TMS570LC4357

Hi All,

Currently, we are using 2 no of TMS570LC4357 microcontroller in the small PCB.(100mmx200mm).

Can I use one TMS570LC4357 controller CAN bus to another TMS570LC4357 controller CAN bus without designing the CAN Transceiver? This CAN bus will not communicate any other controller.

Will this work? Is this mandatory to connect the CAN Transceiver? Can any one give valuable feedback?
