TM4C123GH6PM: Electronic design for agricultural machinery

Hello, I need to design equipment for agricultural machinery (gearbox, light control, activation of electrovalves, instrument panels, and later Isobus).
All connected by CAN or LIN BUS.
I am thinking of applying the TIVA line in these equipments.
Is it the best option, or are there more specific microcontrollers in the automotive line?

    While there are not TM4C (or Tiva) microcontrollers with the specific AEQ-Q100 automotive designation, there are parts with a T suffix designed for operating temperatures up to 105oC.
    These chips have been showing to be quite robust in our applications, which are "worst than automotive", residing in high temperature, shaky and demanding railway vehicles.
    Most TM4C's have native CAN if that will be sufficient for your needs.
    Of course, you have to evaluate what sort of processing is required, and what price range is targeted. For general control, I can't think of much that these M4 processors won't be able to do! And there's also a lot of room for numeric processing and real time evaluation - still, this is a generic reply, your needs will dictate the feasibility.
    For safety critical applications, there are other specific IC's (you probably came across the Hercules family on this vendor), or you can use external monitoring solutions coupled to a TM4C.
    For a more specific response, you will need to talk to your local FAE and discuss some more details.
