Hi everyone,

I have a system with Android smartphone and a Spartan 3 FPGA, which is connected through a FT2232h chip (configuration and uart communication), but I'm thinking to replace this FPGA with a Tiva microcontroller, my problem is to have the required utilities...

There is some way to program it with android in a easy way? It is not needed to have an apk, but some script bypassing Android security problems...

The blank TM4C123 device can be programmed with a ROM based serial boot loader. Updates can be made if the application code supports calling the boot loader.

I want to program it without previous jtag or something... There is some way to achieve it?

Yes, using the ROM based bootloader. However, I recommend putting JTAG on your development board because once the device is no longer blank, the bootloader is bypassed. The final application code can call the bootloader to support software changes, but you want a way to erase the device in case your application code does not work properly during the development stage.

It is pretty good but I was wonderimg if there is some circuit with maybe FTDI chip to obtain jtag and program directly.
