TMS570 asynch memory

Folks,

What is the max memory TMS570 can address? Is it 128 MBytes or more?

Also, what is the biggest size asynch sram memory available on the market. I could only find something which was about 64 Mbits. I am looking for something bigger.

Aish,

The TMS570 can support up to 128MB through the External Memory Interface (EMIF.) The EMIF peripheral enables external ASRAM devices to communicate with the TMS570 microcontroller. The EMIF supports 4 addressable chip select spaces of up to 32MB each.

The biggest asynchronous SRAM memory I could find is 16 Mbits, or 2MB. Try searching a supplier site, such as Digikey, to help find exactly what you are looking for.
