TIVA PLUS CC3100 Library configuration for blynk

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: ENERGIA

Hello Everyone,

I am posting this regarding the Blynk Cloud which we can use for controlling our launchpad wirelessly through an andriod App.As the blynk website says that ,install all the libraries for blynk and you can start using blynk cloud for IOT applications.

I followed the same for Energia v17 ,but it always gives error that blynksimpleEnergiaWifi.h not found.

Kindly if anyone knows what is the issue i am facing it will be very helpfull.

  • Your highlight of (both) "Bylnk" and "Energia" is noted. Would not your placing this issue w/those two prove productive?

Many here would be interested in, "Android" mating w/TM4C devices - are you (sure) of Blynk's (mates w/TM4C) claim?

As to your, "file not found" - that file MUST flow from "Blynk" - highly unlikely to be resident w/in Energia. Have you imported that file into your program?
  • Hello Cb1_mobile

Blynk Community is supporting TI platform as they have mentioned in their website.
And lot of people are using it for Aurdiono boards,Being Energia as aurdino based IDE so obivously it should support all the TI boards supported by Energia.
The problem is only with library files,no proper procedure mentioned to install them for Energia.Due to very less people aware of the fact ,about Blynk and Energia Mating,So less community support on web for TI boards.I am sure that here in e2e someone would have worked around this issue.

Well i have included the library within Energia library directory and still it shows same error.

    Regards

    Rather
  • If it is true that, "Blynk Community is supporting TM4C" - my suggestion of further request/examination of (that) community makes much sense. (I had never heard of "Blynk" - yet am "much aware" of the huge postings here - suffered by those attempting reliable operation under, "exosite.")

Would not such "support by Blynk" be expected to include (some) description of required library install?

  • Well, all credit goes to Energia People, who dont update that IDE much. When they have designed it as per aurdino based,it should support all that what aurdino is supporting and should give updtes regularly.

one needs to take stand or make it shut down.

Indeed - which is why (much/most) of your quest should transfer to "that/those" originating/sponsoring forums.

Operating at the "bleeding edge" (newest - latest/greatest) often results in such issues.     You may be a bit "before your time!"
