I was able to get the TM4C running as a http server using TI-RTOS but I can not figure out how to handle cookies. I noticed there is an option to add an http callback function, but I have not found any examples. Is it possible to read cookies on TM4C when running as a http server?

Sorry for the delay.

Just to make sure, when the client sends the request (which will have the cookie in it), you want to be able to read it...correct? So something like this:

GET /sample_page.html HTTP/1.1
Host: www.example.org
Cookie: yummy_cookie=choco; tasty_cookie=strawberry

If so, the NDK currently does not support this. Please note the callback in the HTTP configuration page is a bug. It should not be there.

Yes that is what I would like to do.

Do you know if there is any plans to do this in the future?

Hi Dillon,

I've opened an enhancement request, but I don't expect it to be supported anytime soon.

The HTTP code is all in the NDK, while I agree it is not the most desired solution, you are free to change it and add the support in yourself. For example in the httpClientProcess function (packages/ti/ndk/nettools/http/httpclie.c, there is a call to httpParseRecv that parses the incoming request. You could add the cookie handling code there. You'd need to rebuild the NDK after the code changes. Instructions for this are in the TI-RTOS User Guide.
