As noted in another post (e2e.ti.com/.../598580) you simply need to set up separate mailboxes for each ID format used. i.e. one for the STD length and another for the Extended format messages.

Sorry for the link issue. There really wasn't too much there anyway so I'll skip updating it.

In Halcogen configuration it only provides a check box to enable or disable extended message identifiers. You would need to modify the message objects/mailboxes manually to set them up for receipt with the appropriate message ID length.
