RTOS/TM4C1294NCPDT: Integration of TI NDK with Modbus stack

Part Number: TM4C1294NCPDT

Tool/software: TI-RTOS

Hi,

I am using a third party Modbus stack. I have to integrate the Modbus stack to TI NDK. To send packets from NDK to Modbus and to receive packets from Modbus, what all functions or APIs I have to use? Also tell me the header files I have to use.

Thanks & Regards

Sandra

    So many possibilities

    Seriously?

OK items to consider. I'm assuming from this you are trying to get Modbus/TCP to run

    • Does your third party stack support Modbus/TCP? Some only support Modbus/RTU and/or ModBus ASCII
    • Have you read the porting instructions for the stack? They should tell you what you need to implement. If it doesn't have porting instructions you may not want to use it without considerable more knowledge (or at all)
    • Do you have knowledge of how Modbus/TCP works?
    • Do you have knowledge of how TCP/IP works?
