  • Hello guys,

  • Hello Kazuya
First, let me apologize for the delays in responding to your request for information. Our Hercules support team that monitors this forum is located in our Houston, Tx facility. As you may have heard, this area has been affected by the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey and is experiencing historic flooding with many people evacuated for safety.

In regard to the PMIC recommendation, we do not have a specific one that we recommend for this device since it has a higher current demand than the TPS65381-Q1 is able to provide by itself. However, our PMIC team members have made some suggestions on how the TPS65381-Q1 PMIC can be used together with the TMS574LC4357 by adding some additional circuitry to augment the power supply capability. This methodology is discussed more details in this post: e2e.ti.com/.../1286509

In this thread there is some additional discussion of a PMIC that might is in the planning stages that might also provide a solution, but it was not available to discuss openly at the time of the thread. It might be possible to get more information on it and it's potential release timing through the PMIC team and their forum. Since I am not a member of that team I am not aware of the specifics of the device that was discussed.
