What's max SPI data rate of TMS570LS?

Please kindly let me how to calculate TMS570LS SPI data rate.

For example: if CPU frequence is 160M-HZ,

Then max SPI data rate for master mode =  ? max SPI data rate for slave mode =  ?

    Hello Bruce,

    The maximum SPI clock rate is specified within the datasheet for each of our devices and for each configured mode of operation. For the TMS570LS0714, the associated datasheet is SPNS226E.PDF and is available at this link: www.ti.com/.../tms570ls0714. The specific timing information is presented in Chapter 7.12 and specifically starts in section 7.12.4. Note that these are raw bit rates but the bit stream cannot be continuous as a setup time is required to move data between buffers during SPI operations. This means that there is a requirement for a small delay between transmissions if nENA or other handshaking mechanisms are not used. This will impact over all data transfer rates.
