Hello,

Hercules web site show FreeRTOS, SafeRTOS etc RTOS can support Hercules, but not about TI's own TI-RTOS.

someone can sugggest me FreeRTOS or SafeRTOS can use with the TMS570LS3137 Flexray? which RTOS is better!
and Free RTOS vs SafeRTOS Resource occupied ex: internal RAM, speed overhead etc information, and which RTOS can support HALCOGEN.

    Hello Andy,

    This depends on what your plans are for your application. If you are developing a safety application and intend to have it assessed or certified, you will need to use a functional safety compliant RTOS. SafeRTOS fits this need but FreeRTOS does not. We have not specifically adopted TI-RTOS to Hercules mainly for this same reason that it is not safety compliant.

    We also have other Safety compliant RTOS suppliers as well. These are listed on our Hercules home page under the software section. This is the link to the list of 3rd party software that supports Hercules MCUs: www.ti.com/.../tools-software.page
