RM48L952: Triggering system reset (power or CPU reset)

Hello ti community!

I'm searching for a possibility doing a power or cpu reset, to perform a "reboot". Are there any functions provided by halcogen to solve this problem?

Are you trying to create a reset from software? There is not a HALCoGen function for that, but a write to the System Exception Control (SYSECR) register (address 0xFFFFFFE0) can create a system reset, or a write to the CPU Reset Control register (CPURSTCR) can generate a CPU only reset.

That is Status register, you need to write to control register, that should be make trick
systemREG1->SYSECR = BIT_n( 15U );

Note that different performed resets will show different reset reason in case you monitor that during start up
