RM48L952: Using GPIO as Chip Select for MIBSPI

Part Number: RM48L952

Hello,

We are trying to use a board already around to prototype something. I'm trying to use a MIBSPI1 but we don't have any of the MIBSPI chip selects available to us and are going to be talking to several SPI devices. Is it possible to use a GPIO as the chip select?

I'm thinking I can set up the RM48 as a master, use GPIO to go to the CS pins of the slaves, and then trigger transfer groups on the GPIO as well. Am I missing something that could go wrong?

Thanks!
Andrew
