Hello, I have a question.

On the PBIST function of the Hercules microcomputer, is there a document that understands the coverage rate of each algorithm such as MARCH13?

    Hello Maekawa,

    The algorithm used is a standard March13n algorithm. It is meant to test for validity of the bits within the RAM cells by walking bits through memory. Primarily, it tests for stuck bits/incorrect values in RAM. From a diagnostic coverage perspective, it is considered High DC. When combined with ECC it provides a very strong protection of the safety function from both the single point fault metric as well as latent fault detection.
