in my project we need to use RS422 but it seems it is not supported by the board TMDX570LC43HDK.

Which solutions are available to support this protocol on this board.

Hello Antonio,

TMS570LC04357 does't have RS422 module, but it has UART modules (without handshaking) supporting RS232. The HDK doesn't have RS232 controller and D-9 RS232 connector.

OK, but if I want to connect TMDX570LC43HDK to a RS422 device which solutions are available?
I'm not sure that I can connect an usb to rs422 adapter to the same usb used for programming the board because that usb is emulating a serial port.
Is it true?

Hello,

The mini USB on HDK are for JTAG and SCI (TX and RX). The SCI on TMS570 doesn't have handshaking signals, I am not sure if this meets RS422's requirements. The HDK has other SCI on the connector.
