TM4C129ENCPDT: graphics library optimization

Part Number: TM4C129ENCPDT

Hello,

I am using Ek-tm4c129 development board. I have interfaced  this development board with 7 " TFT display based on ssd1963 controller. All working Fine.

Now I want to update  eight to ten parameters on display continuously But the speed of parameter update is very slow.

I have used TIVA board at 120Mhz and not used any delay.By continuous updating parameters i got result as per video below.

Here  i only updates parameters not full screen of display.

I have already applied software optimization.

Is there any way to increase further speed of display update or optimization ?

  • There is no magic. You will need to identify the bottle neck in your system. (What is the software spending most of its time doing?)
  • It is noted too - that your top row, right column - has (incompletely) updated. (right-most char appears unstable.)

You fail to define that which you consider, "too slow."    More helpful (i.e. of (some) help) would be your report of the measured time between update 1 and update n.  (define "n")     Do describe "how" you performed such measurement.

You speak of already applying, "software optimization." Yet - your results (thus far) prove unsatisfactory - might that "optimization" have not been fully/really obtained.    (i.e. "unobtained" (illusory) - could not resist...)

As one long in the display field - your listing of the top 5 "software optimization factors" you've chosen - would prove useful...    Such "limited screen updates" (especially all text) - should result @ "lightning speed" - which throws any "claim of optimization" into great dispute...
