Hi Team,

I need TI support about JTAG unlocking function.

I use TM4C129ENCPDT and it is required sometimes to perform the unlocking function

After a CPU is programmed with the operational SW.

 

I tried to perform the unlocking using the LM Flash utility but I failed to do so and the

CPU runs with the operational SW and LM Flash displays that the unlocking is failed.

 

I wrote to TI forum and I got instructions for the unlocking procedure but

Still the unlocking function is failed.

 

Need your support…

    While I'm unlikely to qualify as, "Team" - your inclusion of any/all "warning or error messages" - normally produced during such "failed unlocking attempts" - along w/noting the JTAG probe employed -is sure to prove of value...

    Hi Shlomi,
    Is this your custom board? What emulator do you use to connect to the board? The LM flash programmer works with LaunchPad or boards that come with the ICDI emulator. If you are using emulator such as XDS100, XDS110 or XDS200 you can try Uniflash to unlock the device.
