Hello,

I came across the following thread : https://e2e.ti.com/support/microcontrollers/hercules/f/312/p/497200/1805982

we want to do the same thing, add crc to check the data integrity. it says that enhancement request is made with number given below :

Enhancement Request is SDOCM00121738 Ticket on CRC not actually implemented [checksum instead] is SDOCM00121739

Wanted to know the status of the enhancement request? and if its implemented already, does it mean that FEE driver uses crc to check the data integrity of the written data?

    I have forwarded your question to our SW lead since they monitor and decide on the outcome of the enhancement requests within the SW team.

    Hi Vijayendra

    No, the enhancement request was rejected by the Software development team. CRC will not be support by FEE driver, although customer/user can have the CRC protection outside of FEE driver if needed.

    FEE driver will support only CHECKSUM at each FEE Block level and this is an optional feature, which are used together with Flash ECC.
