Error in HALCoGen OS files generation

I have just downloaded the new version of HALCoGen tool and I'm trying to create FreeRTOS based project on TMS570LS20216ZWT. I left all the settings by default how they are in the "example_freeRTOSBlinky" and when HALCoGen starts generating code I see this error message:

>> Generating code for TMS570LS20216ZWT_FREERTOS

>> SYSTEM

>> OS

**** error: variable not found: getVariableString(OS, SRCINCPORT, ...)

Can anybody help me with that problem?

What can it be? Is it nesessary to change something in the default settings?

I have done everithing what is recommended in the post "Using the FreeRTOS component from HALCoGen", but I still have the same problem...

Hello,

think you somehow mixed up 2 HALCoGen releases.

Please can you try to un-install HALCoGen via 'Add and Remove Programs".

Make sure that all HALCoGen folders are deleted.

Delete the HALCoGen register entry:

- open regedit

- delete HALCoGen folder under HKEY_CURRENT_USER -> Software -> Texas Instruments

Install latest version of HALCoGen and try again.

Thanks a lot, Marcus!

I really mixed up 2 HALCogen's, one was installed from TMS570 MDK DVD, and another one (the latest version) was downloaded from "Tools & Software".

The re-installation succesfully resolved all troubles.
