Can we use CAN signal as a digital IO?

This controller has pin 37 and Pin-38 as CAN signals. Can we use these pins as digital IO? PLease confirm?

    Hi,

    Do you mean you need to use those pins as general purpose IO and not for CAN operations? It is possible.
    You can use the registers DCAN TIOC and DCAN RIOC in the CAN module. Func bit field in the register can be set to 0 to make it a GPIO. You can use other bit fields in theses registers to configure the pins
