RM44L520: there is a native bootloader in ROM on Hercules?

Hi all,

i'm wondering if, like on C2000 devices, on Hercules there is a pre-programmed (in flash or ROM) small bootloader that could be used to flash the fresh board just at the end of the assembly line (without using the jtag, of course).

I've seen support projects for SPI/UART/CAN bootloaders, but I can't find references if that code is somehow pre-programmed; nor (if it's the case) i was able to find bootmode-selection pin.

Hello Alberto,

RM44 doesn't have internal ROM, so it doesn't have ROM bootloader like on C2x devices. We have SPI/UART/DCAN/Ethernet bootloaders available, but they need to be programmed onto flash through the JTAG. It acts as a secondary bootloader.
