Hi All,

I am currently using TMS570LS12x Launchpad with TMS570LS1224 uC. I have configured and assigned a message object for transmission, when i scope the TX line it is always high and not sending any data can someone please help me figure out what configuration is wrong ? I have not got any transceiver at the moment and directly watching CAN1TX pin on scope

Hello Jain,

Did you put any non-zero value to the IF1DATx register? I suggest you to do the test with CAN driver and sample TX/RX code generated through HALCoGen.

Hello,

Your code will not transfer data to CAN bus.

1. You don't put any data to IF1DATA register. This register contains the data you want to tx

2. You don't TX dataA and dataB to DCAN message RAM throught IF1 : canREG1->IF1CMD = (0x80| 0x40|0x20| 0x10);

please try my code to transfer data using mbox1 of CAN1
