EK-TM4C123GXL: USB0VBUS and USB0ID not connected tru R25 and R29

Part Number: EK-TM4C123GXL
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TM4C123GH6PM

Hello,

The Schematics @ EK-TM4C123GXL Rev A Schematic.pdf  show that usbvbus and usbid are connected to PB0 and PB1 tru 0ohm resistors. But on the actual device those resistors are missing, thus PB0 and PB1 are not connected to the usb.

What are those pins used for and are they a necessity for a new design that uses the TM4C123GH6PM ? What can you not do when those pins are unconnected? I understand one of them is for VBUS power detection. What is the usbid connection used for.

Best regards,

C.
