LAUNCHXL2-570LC43: Hercules Safety Demos Launching

Hi All,

I have a LaunchXL2-TMS570LC43 and trying to use the Hercules Safety MCU Demo software from TI. 

When I launch the software, it gives me a pop-up window asking to navigate to the shared library FTD2XX.dll, and I've gotten to it. When I do this however the program comes up saying it can't find any devices; or if I skip this step I get issues with the NI LabView components. Has anyone else had these issues? I'm running Windows 10 and have CCSv7.3 if that helps at all.

    Hello Aaron,

    The Safety Demo software does not support the LaunchXL2-TMS570LC43 launchpad. The query you saw was an attempt to locate the FTDI chip used in our XDS100v2 emulators on our HDKs and the RM42/LS0432 launchpads. The newer launchpads use an XDS110 that doesn't have an FTDI chip and are not compatible with the Hercules Safety Demo SW.

    Thank you Chuck! This explains the issues I was having.

    Is there any plan to support the LaunchXL2-TMS570LC43 Launchpad in the Safety Demo SW? Or any other good examples like are in the Safety Demo SW for the TMS570LC43?
