TM4C123GH6PM: issue of harwave

Part Number: TM4C123GH6PM

I has a issue of harwave.

How much value is Cs capacitor in there?

  • Whatever is appropriate for your signal. It should be large enough that charging or discharging the internal sample capacitor does not affect it's level significantly. At the same time it can act as a Nyquist filter.

See #Bookshelf for some TI literature on how to provide signal conditioning.

Oh, and you need a better subject for your post.
  • Does not that detail appear w/in the MCU manual's "ADC spec listing" - far to the rear of the manual? (it is a small value cap - to be sure)

More importantly (as you cannot alter that cap) is your development of proper "Analog Front End" circuitry - which satisfactorily "charges & discharges" that cap. The impedance of your circuit must well match that of the ADC - and sufficient current to "properly" charge/discharge that cap - must be provided.

On another note - your use of, "Harwave" (for the likely "Hardware") reminds of an "ex, enhanced, blonde/brightened gf" - who when "over-served" - produced such (unique) word approximations... (she may be found off "Catalina's windward side" - for those interested... and is comfortable w/"4C123.")
  • cb1, you do realize Cs is outside of the micro? The sample cap is Cadc to the right.

  • I totally "missed" that! Might the "inexactness" of poster's "encirclement" - buy me (somewhat) reduced sentence? (along w/memories of "harwave" - to be sure...) (We may wish to add PUI to DUI - as a fine-able offense - mais oui?) (P=posting)
  • While you could plead that trauma due to subject construction was a contributory factor, and I'm sure you could find witnesses to that effect, operating UI is no more likely than other voluntary UI pleas to win reprieve I expect.

After all the placement is clearly easily missed.

    Robert

  • As "hardware" is very well known - and "in print" everywhere - cb1 may not have been the sole "thread participant" - forced to "cop such UI plea." Crack staff will attest to my "walking an (almost) straight line" - in contrast poster's attempt @ encirclement - is very much "Picasso-like..."
