Hi.

I'm using a TMDX570LC43HDK and try to communicate with another board via SCI3 port. So, in HCG I enable the "SCI3 driver", in "VIM Channel 64" the Interrupt and in "SCI3 configuration" I enable RX interrupt. I also enable in PINMUX SCI3 to use NHET1[6] as RX pin and NHET1[13] as TX pin. But, I just got nothing. I certainly miss something in my configurations but I just don't know what. I also try to self-test SCI3 and got nothing too.

Hi.

I have just complete the tutorial "Hercules Tutorial: Using the SCI for UART Communication". Same problem the board just don't trigger the notification on UART reception. Also, I have notice that the RX LED is blinking when I send data from PC to the Board, but again no notification is trigger.

Hello Jacquis,

Can you send your halcogen project to me so I can have a look? Have you manually had a look at the Rx registers and Rx inputs to see if data is arriving or not and if it is simply an interrupt issue vs a SCI driver configuration issue?

It would also be helpful if you could include your main so I can see how you are calling the init functions and interfacing with the SCI HAL drivers.

Chuck,

I finally find out how to enable the RX interrupt: I just put a sciReceive function after my sciInit function and it works well now. But, is this an expected behavior? I join my project, if you can take a look it will be appreciated.
