TM4C129ENCPDT: Interfacing to an eMMC

Part Number: TM4C129ENCPDT

Greetings,

I am working on a TI-RTOS based design that needs to store a large number of files.  I have been looking at using the FsFat code and an eMMC.  There is a thread on the TM4C Microcontroller Forum titled "Can the TM4C129 support eMMC?".  The link to it is below:

e2e.ti.com/.../2077194

In the commentary Amit Ashara suggests that the QSPI interface along with some custom logic would enable eMMC support.  Furthermore he suggests that the code can be obtained by agreeing to an NDA.  I am very interested in reviewing this IP.  I am trying to get in touch with a TI Sales AE as he suggests so I can get the NDA and IP.

Best regards,

Roy Cooley

  • The eMMC interface is based on the JEDEC standard JESD84-B51. While this standard is available for free, it requires registration and agreement with JEDEC. TI does not disclose the JEDEC intellectual property by providing examples of the eMMC interface. However, if after obtaining and reading the specification, you have specific questions about use of the QSPI or other interfaces on the TM4C129E device, please post them on a new thread.
