TM4C129EKCPDT: Use both CAN buses and USB host simultaneously

We're using the TM4C129EKCPDTI3 for a project requiring the use of both of the CAN buses and the USB as a host (OTG not required) simultaneously. I noticed that pins 95 (CAN1Rx/USB0ID) and 96 (CAN1Tx/USB0VBUS) are common to both the USB and one of the CANs. However, after reading this maxim document, I get the impression that the USB ID and USB VBUS lines are only required for USB OTG.

Is it possible to use the USB as a host without pins 95 and 96?

Yes, I have copied a statement from page 1767 of the datasheet below (http://www.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/tm4c129ekcpdt.pdf). PB0 and PB1 can be used as CAN instead of GPIO.

Seriously - such detail revealed only after a, "1767 page search!" Quite a job of "digging" - and your "find" & use of color simply "makes this post." Thank you.

Might you know if the termination, "Pull-ups & Pull-downs" - so well listed here - are "usually/normally" provided (similarly) by many/most "External devices?" (somewhere one of our staff "read" of "compliance issues" w/the "USB standard" - we are searching for that article...) Again thanks.
