TMS570LS0714: How to transform LAUNCHXL-TMS57004 to TMS570LS0714 platform?

Hi Team,

Now I have a LAUNCHXL-TMS57004 EVM board on hand, the Hercules device is TMS570LS0432. But I want to test some configuration and projects on TMS570LS0714 platform, could I replace the device TMS570LS0432 with LS0714PZ directly to build up TMS570LS0714 test platform? If not, how should I do extra?

Hello David,

LS0714 PZ and LS0432PZ are pin to pin compatible. You can use LS0324 HDK to some peripherals of LS0714, we did it before.

Appreciate your quick response.

Today I replace the LS0432PZ with LS0714PZ on the LAUNCHXL-TMS57004, the board is as below.

But when I do the "Test Connection" in CCS, it shows failed tests as follows. When I debug the code of LS0714, it also shows error. So is there anything else need to be modified beside the device replacement?
