Hi, all:

use RM46L852 microcontroller to generate a period wave for controlling a buzzer.

period: 2 seconds

duty: 10%

The pin is number 32 which named [MIBSPI5NCS[0]/EPWM4A] .

Using HALCOGEN, I selected EPWM4A in pinmux, enabled [Enable TBCLK sync] in [Special Pin Muxing] tab,

Enabled ETPWM drivers,

the next step:

but, I can't get the desired wave. BUZZER is always ringing, not period with 2 seconds.

any help is appreciated.

Actually, there is an example about epwm1 and ecap1 of HALCoGen,

In my case, it is related to epwm4A, does you mean, I may replace the [epwm1 and ecap1] with [epwm4 and ecap4]? From TRM, ecap4 and epwm4, there isn't any relationship, right?

Hi Daimb,

You can use ECAP to measure the period and duty cycle of the input PWM. The example from HALCoGen generates PWM signals from epwm1 and capture the signal at ecap1. You can modify the code for epwm4 and ecap1. If the measured period is 2s, and duty cycle is 10%, the code for PWM should be fine.

Actually you can use a scope to measure the PWM output too.
