Hello all,

I am trying to write a function that implement delay using one shot mode of general purpose timer.

after compiling and click on debug button i have message on the console saying "CORTEX_M4_0: Trouble Reading Memory Block at 0x40040004 on Page 0 of Length 0x4: Debug Port error occurred."

any help ?

Are you using an EK-TM4C123GXL launch pad? If so, are you connected as shown in the picture in this post?

yes i use the board you mentioned and the connection with the PC is like the picture.
The error doesn't appear after changing the USB port but i have no idea about the problem.

That problem sometimes comes if the USB port or the USB cable has too much resistance and is unable to provide the proper amount of current.

Does this mean that the board "appears to work" - after you "change the USB port." Stating (only) that "an error doesn't appear" suggests - but does not conclusively establish - that your board (then) is working. Might you further explain/clarify.

It is assumed that your board - and all related cables & PC Port - did work - and failure first occurred after you added your "one-shot", Timer-based, delay function. Is this correct? Should this "prove the case" the USB cable and PC's USB Port are (pretty much) (both) removed from "suspect list."

the board was working properly and connected to the PC. After the addition of delay function the error problem happened. I just change the USB port without any changing to the code and the error disappeared.
