I am looking into some specific information about those errors reported to the ESM as Group 1 errors:
- DMA - Register Soft Error (Group 1 channel 88)
- L2FMC - Register Soft Error (Group 1 channel 89)
- SYS - Register Soft Error (Group 1 channel 90)
The only documentation I have been able to find is in the Safety manual for DMA, chapter "5.21.11 Detection of Soft Error on Critical Registers". I was surprised to not see the equivalent monitoring in chapters of the "Primary embedded Flash" and "System Module".
1) Do you have more information on these diagnostics?
2) For safety analysis, we need to explicitely know which registers are covered by the mechanism (for SYS, DMA and L2FMC). Is the list documented somewhere? If not, could you provide this information?
3) In TMS570LC4357 Datasheet, Table 6-46, the "Register soft error" is listed under section "Errors reflected in the SYSESR Register", but the corresponding information is not documented in chapter 2.5.1.46 of TMS570LC4357 TRM. Does this bit exist or not?
