RM42L432: Production Programmer

Hello,

I have a customer that is designing a new product with the RM42L432 Hercules processor and they will need to buy a production programmer. Is there a standalone programmer available for this processor? Everything we have seen so far requires a PC.

    Hi David,

    To add to QJ's information, we have worked with many 3rd party programming providers and in circuit test providers (with added programming feature) but I believe they all are PC based. Generally speaking, since our devices do not have an onchip bootloader, programming through JTAG is required for the 1st time programming. This usually requires significant computing capability so they usually need a PC or similarly capable equipment.
