RTOS/TM4C1292NCPDT: How to monitor the Incoming packets other than specified port

Hi,

i have created networkHook function for 502 port (i.e. Modbus TCP). But i need to monitor or post some notification to my application task when incoming packets other than 502 port ?

can anybody help me to add this feature in the NDK or is there any API is available to make use of this?

i am using following version of TI RTOS and NDK in my application.

ndk_2_25_00_09

tirtos_tivac_2_16_01_14

Hi Bala,

Can you give me some more details? Where in the stack are you looking for this? For example, do you want to monitor in the EMAC driver or higher in the stack?

What does your networkHook function do?

Hi Todd.

My networkHook will create task dynamically for listening and processing any incoming packets on 502 port. and also i want to listen any packet other than the 502 port either in EMAC driver or higher level in the stack.

i want to given some notification to my application task that system is receiving packets other than 502 ports.

This is not possible with the NDK (and probably most networking stacks). You probably add some code into tcpin.c to accomplish this.
