TMS570LS0232: Determining If Device AJSM is Locked

Customer has build several hundred boards, and found 3 boards with the same errors

The have checked connection, power, clock, reset, etc. I suspect the AJSM has been accidently locked. Is there a way to confirm this from UniFlash or CCS or other means? Any suggestion?

Hello Lawrence,

It is not caused by ASJM. If AJSM is locked, you will get an error message as below:

Any other suggestion as next step to resolved this? Customer checked connection, power, clock, reset, assembly, etc.
Other than device swap from good board to non-functional board is there anything else to try?

Hi Lawrence,

Please check with the customer how the JTAG nTRST is connected. JTAG nTRST should be pull-down.
