CCS/TM4C123GH6PM: FreeRTOS custom example doesn't run without pressing reset buttton

Part Number: TM4C123GH6PM

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

Hi,

I am able to run freeRTOS sample provided with TiVaWare.

I have commented code for initializing LEDs and switches on board and added simple task of printing Hello world on serial terminal.

I could run the program the only issue is that  i did not see the print until i pressed reset button.

And it runs for one time instead of running in loop?

Does anyone have clue why this would be happening??

Thanks,

Prathamesh

  • Hello Prathamesh,

We don't any FreeRTOS expertise as the forums are for support of the TM4C device specifically. Your questions seem to be centered on the RTOS rather than the TM4C device hardware, so I don't think we can really help from the TI side. Perhaps a community member might be able to offer advice if you are fortunate. Also I'd recommend posting your code as without, it's impossible for anyone to know what to suggest - especially in regards to the question about why the loop only runs once.

There seems to be a support forum for FreeRTOS, you may want to try posting there for help: https://www.freertos.org/FAQ-how-to-use-the-FreeRTOS-support-forum.html
