TM4C1290NCPDT: Mass Erase function specifically called from the CLI generated by the UNIflash tool

Thank you, Charles. We (customer) had reviewed the Uniflash wiki prior but do you have a specific "Mass Erase" to factory settings recommendation you can make please? Customer has 'bricked' boards and needs to do the factory reset/restore.

It appears that if a user invokes the following in their .bat file, it should work properly.

MD /C "!DEBUGSERVER_ROOT!drivers\MSP430Flasher.exe -n MSP430Fxxx -e ERASE_TOTAL"
echo.
echo.

(where xxxx is the device p/n)

We will test this out and advise.

The MSP430Flasher is for the MSP430 family of devices. I've never used it and I don't think it will work with TM4C. But I will be glad if you can prove me wrong though.

Hah hah! Good catch...yes I see the mix-up as well. That was my fault , mixing up screenshots. The underlying question is what syntax to use for the Factory Setting/ Mass Erase sequence and I do still believe the above -e ERASE_TOTAL CLI command should still be relevant. If I can surprise you with it working , I'll certainly keep you posted!

Hi Chris,

 You haven't answered my question about what debug probe the customer has. If XDS100 or XDS200 is available then the customer can use the dbgjtag.exe to unlock the device as described in the app note I pointed to. See below screenshot. With that said, a bricked device is normally associated with some destructive code running. The customer should investigate what was the code prior to the lockout so the same problem does not repeat again.
