RM48L930: GPIO datasheet typo/question

Part Number: RM48L930

A majority of the pins for the PGE version of the RM48L state that they can be used as GPIO as an alternate function, for the N2HET1 modules in the datasheet description column (sheet 13) it says the pins can be configured as GIO, is this just a typo and should say GPIO and are these pins able to be configured as GPIO as most of the other are?

  • Hello Josh,

I am not certain I would characterize it as a typo as we often use GIO and GPIO interchangeably; but, to clarify, yes, all of the N2HET pins can be used as GPIO if so desired. The interface to these pins used as GPIO is very similar to the dedicated GPIO in that you can write and read them from dedicated dataIN and DataOUT registers.
