Hello Support,

Can you please provide me an example project work area which is running STC2 for nHET within TMS570LC43xx device family?

Whatever I try, it always fails even though nHET1 and nHET2 are functioning properly.

Any help is appreciated.

Hi Pashan,

I have attached a .zip CCS7 project that runs the STC2 (N2HET) self-test. It first calls STC2_SelfTest() which injects a failure so this routine is expected to fail. Then it calls STC2_Test(). This routine tests the logic of both high end timers and is expected to pass. Sorry about all of the header files. I used HALCoGen for the startup and then the Safety Library header files for some of the STC register definitions. The source of interest is HL_sys_main.c and STC2.c.

I used a 16MHz crystal and GCLK=300MHz, HCLK=150MHz, VCLK=VCLK2=75MHz and STC2CLK is 37.5MHz. You should be able to change these settings in HALCoGen and regenerate the setup files if you use a different crystal.
