When the MCU's interface (TXD, RXD) is connected in series with another Phy for connecting to ethernet switch chip, in addition to the use of capacitors as isolation, how to calculate and design the different pull-up and pull-down impedances to solve the network connection problem?

Hi Nick,
Which serial interface (UART?) of the MCU are you using when you say TXD and RXD? The TM4C1294NCPDT has built in EMAC and PHY. I'm not clear when you say you are connecting to another PHY via the TXD,RXD interface. Are you bypassing the the built-in EMAC and PHY in the MCU? The TM4C1294NCPDT does not have the MII/RMII interface pinned out so I'm wondering how you are interfacing to the external PHY.

The TXD and RXD is Ethernet Signal in M4 (EN0TXOP, EN0TXON and EN0RXIP, EN0RXIN)

Please refer to the datasheet and search the figure with the title "Interface to Ethernet Jack". Another place for similar information is the section 4.1 in the app note here.
