Hello,

 

I would like to use Hercules safety MCU for a tractor using some automotive equipments. 

I am looking at TMS470xxx

I am interested to know whether we have libraries available on line and if not where I can acquire them and what is TI position in terms of automotive qualification for these products.

 

So far I found in ti.com libraries only to manage the flash of TMS470 but I also would like to have more libraries to manage the internal peripherals too.

    Please also consider the newer TMS570 family of devices with lock step processors for safety applications.

    As you noted we provide the flash libraries for use in programming internal flash of these devices. For the peripherals, we also offer our Halcogen tool. It is a GUI interface used to configure most of the available peripherals on the TMS470M/TMS570 devices. Once configured in the GUI, the tool will generate the HAL drivers based on the customer defined configurations.
