Is there any temperature specification which the derating is needed?

The notes 1 and note 2 under the Table 5.7 (page 21) give a equation for derating.

We know that the notes 1 and note 2 under the Table 5.7 (page 21) give a equation for derating.

We want to know if we don’t need any derating till Tj=150degC.

Hi Kuerbis,

The note 1 under the Table 5.7 says that "The typical value is the average current for the nominal process corner and junction temperature of 25ºC". The Icc at other temperature can be calculated with this formula.

The junction-to-air thermal resistance can vary greatly depending on the ambient conditions. But within the recommended operating conditions, the derating is not needed.
