We are trying to communicate encoder through DCAN. Encoder is CanOpen Slave. Please Suggest the steps for commnuication from RM46l852 DCAN1/2/3 and Encoder. Any Stack is required?

Here is my suggestion (I am not with TI).

Use HalCoGen to create two mailboxes for each DCAN. One for Tx the other for Rx (use address mask of 0x0 for Rx). You will need to modify code so the mailboxes can receive both 18 bit and 29 bit messages. You will need to modify the code so the destination and received addresses are set and inspected. Hint: 18 bit ID values appear in the left most side of the 29 bits.

I do not have experience in CanOpen. I did use a RM46L852 HDK with J1939 and custom CAN based protocol.

I recall seeing free to download CanOpen C code (master or slave). I suggest that you prove the ability to send and receive CAN frames as the first step.
