RM48L950: Ethernet TCP/IP Stacks for Hercules

Part Number: RM48L950
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: HALCOGEN

Hello Hercules Team,

I am looking for TCP/IP stacks for the TMS570/RM4x devices.  On this TI website:

http://www.ti.com/microcontrollers/hercules-safety-mcus/tools-software.html

it says:

"Connectivity and Middleware

Lightweight IP TCP/IP Stack Example  The Open Source lwIP 1.3.2 TCP/IP stack has been ported to the HALCoGen Ethernet MAC driver in this example that leverages the full-featured Ethernet interface of the Hercules MCUs. The integrated application demonstrates a webserver application on a Hercules Safety MCU."

QUESTION: Where is the lwIP stack and the example?  There is no link.

------------------

[Post-note, 10:04AM EDT 2018Apr25, ALTER]: I found the lwIP example.  There is a link to it inside Halcogen.  It is located here:

http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/HALCoGen_Ethernet_Driver_and_lwIP_Integration_Demonstration

------------------

There are also a number of 3rd party Ethernet stacks listed, such as from Wittenstein and Micrium.  Previously on this webpage it says "All Hercules software is royalty-free and is licensed to support easy adoption into customer projects."

QUESTION: Is the third party software really free of charge, or is there a one-time buy or something like that (if no royalty)?

Thank you,

David
