Hello,

i made a project that basically works, but i don't get an interrupt for remote frames.

I made a message box for all incoming messages. But i only geht interrupts for data frames.

In the screenshot RTR is not enabled, but it does not matter, does not work.

Why do i get interrupts for data frames but not for remote frames ?

For interrupt handling i use the code generated by halcogen

Is it possible to get an interrupt for a remote frame without automatically sending a data frame ?

Hi Drave,

If IE0 is enabled, the RxOK should be set after you receive a CAN frame.

When a Remote Frame is received, three different configurations of the matching message object have to be considered:
1. Dir = 1 (direction = transmit), RmtEn = 1, UMask = 1 or 0: The TxRqst bit of this message object is set at the reception of a matching Remote Frame. The rest of the message object remains unchanged.
2. Dir = 1 (direction = transmit), RmtEn = 0, UMask = 0: The Remote Frame is ignored, this message object remains unchanged.
3. Dir = 1 (direction = transmit), RmtEn = 0, UMask = 1: The Remote Frame is treated similar to a received Data Frame. At the reception of a matching Remote Frame, the TxRqst bit of this message object is reset.
