Good that. And ... how do you propose going about that task? There exist several means to accomplish your objective - should you not (better) participate in their discovery & implementation?

The SysTick Control and Status Register is documented on page 138 of the datasheet.

It is at address 0xE000E010. Bit 2 = 1, the default, means the system clock is the source. Bit 2 = 0 means that PIOSC/4 is the source.

Well, I know if i am not explicitly setting the clocking frequency through PLL then the MCU is clocked at 16Mhz internal osc. , right?
