I'm reviewing the example HALCoGen_SCI_DMA project and would like to port it into a TMS570LC4357 eval board.
The HalCoGen file is for a TMS570LS1227.
How can I convert the project into a TMS570LC4357 platform?
Hello John,
Yes, you can port DMA project to LC4357. One change should be make for the "PORTASGN" of the control packets.
For LS1227: DMA data read and write access happens through Port B.
For LC4357: Port A is used to access: L2 Flash, L2 SRAM, EMIF
Port B is used to access: All peripherals, that is, MibSPI registers, DCAN registers, and All peripheral memories, that is, MibSPI RAM, DCAN RAM
