Hi,
I am a bit confused with the hibernate oscillator circuit.
In the 3.7.1.2 section (page 28) of the "System Design Guidelines for the TM4C123x Family" there is a diagram showing how to connect the crystal, but in the schematics of the EK-TM4C123GXL the connection is different and it does not comply with the design guide recomendations.
In those schematics, the GNDX is just connected to capacitors C28 and C29, but not to ground, and in the design guide it is written that the GNDX must be connected to ground for proper operation.
Which one is right? Is it a schematic errata?
Here are the screenshots from the desing guide and the EK-TM4C123GXL schematics, look how in the schematics the GNDX is not connected to ground:
